How aluminium foil has changed the everyday lives of people who use it
Aluminium foil is mot commonly know for being used in the kitchen, but it has also proved useful and very effective for other uses. It can be used for storing, preserving, cleaning/ housework, gardening, camping, fishing, hobbies and can even be used to clean old appliances. It was even used in the Ancient Egypt (to prepare medicines) and in the Middles Ages (to set clothes).

- When grilling vegetables - top the vegetables off with butter and whatever herb you want, wrap them in a foil packet and then just simply grill them on the barbecue.
- Soften up brown sugar - wrap the brown sugar in foil and bake it for 5 minutes in a 300 degree oven. To keep it soft just leave it in the foil and put it in a ziplock bag.
- Lure a fish - Wrap aluminium foil around a fishhook and fringe it so that it covers that hook and wiggles invitingly when it is reeled in.
